Well, its only Sat eve here but I'll be busy tomorrow so I'll post here while I can;

Took the front grill off and the headlight bezels - detailed the moss and mildew from the corners and gaskets that hide where the lens meets the backing. And I found 1 screw about to be out of the radiator bracket! Plus the "I" member that supports the grill and upper and lower body work was missing a bolt (Torfab helped in this area). Then I tightened the other 3 I saw. Now I'm secure knowing these are secure.

Replaced the thermostat! Changed a few connectors spliced from others (Torfab helped in this area too). Cleaned up the area of excess crud where the housing bolts on the block as well (see before and after)

FINALLY got to placing a cup/coin holder in the open area of the dash below the radio. It took some doing with a Dremel to get it to work, but its snug, looks pretty good and WORKS!

While the cluster bezel was out, I finished putting green LED's in last 2 I didn't seem to replace for some reason. Now it's all gonna be bright. Also cleaned out all the dust and accumulation from the driver side vent.

Finally wrapped the steering wheel with a cover.

Added new snaps (you guessed it...Torfab) to the tailgate carpet and so far so good. I heard an audible "SNAP! That carpet hasn't been in that thing for quite some time.

James

Cut the SOA FJ62 front end out from under Moonshine.

Hypertherm? Nice. What do you use to dry the air? I always blow through tips...

Met a few friends at Uwharrie a few weeks ago. It was all nice and clean driving there but got nasty quick.

Yes sir! Didn't use anything to dry the air. I borrowed it from a buddy of mine, who said it cut cleaner with dry air, but it didn't make that much of a difference.

I'm jealous :D Wish I could have made it out there.

Put a ton of 'therapy' work into the 60 this past weekend:

1. Replaced the front/side marker lights.
2. Replaced all emblems.
3. Replaced the grille, turn signals, taillights (see 'note' below).
4. Installed Wired Wagon's harness/aux fuse panel.
5. Installed JW Speaker headlights (see thread requesting help)
6. Removed old PIAA lights from ARB bumper.
7. Replaced clutch & brake foot pads.
8. Replaced both dome lights with LED upgrades from Pfran.
9. Removed washer bottle (fun) and was going to replace but found some of the parts unusable (see pic).
10. Removed hood, pulled old liner, degreased/cleaned/polished then installed new liner.

Note: I couldn't find OEM grille/turn signals, so purchased aftermarket - quality/fitment utterly shameful. Alignment at all contact points substantially off; grille so poorly made the new OEM 'TOYOTA' I purchased wouldn't fit because the left-to-right was off my almost 1/3". Turn signal and taillights the exact same way; had other pressing obligations but will remove and try to return. If there's a 'no return policy', I will donate on MUD simply out of spite.

Anyhoo. . .thanks to many of you for the shared passion, words of wisdom and hope all enjoyed the weekend:

What is your plan for the removed lights?
