So far I've looked at it, thought about driving it and dreamt about future upgrades. Gotta have weekends to relax!

Fitted an OEM master door switch, it's grey, it works and it's free:grinpimp:

Hi Aaron

Yep when you remove the armrest, the master switch pops out, it is recessed into the armrest.

Replaced the hose behind my A/C Compressor that feeds into the lower radiator hose. A PITA. But it's done.

I've been doing some welding on the inner wheel arches, and started building up the front panel (what's the english word for it? )

All part of a body-off restoration.

Fitted new Munro heavy duty shocks to the front:D, the new Rancho RS5000 I fitted a couple of weeks ago were not long enough and were clunking every time I went over a bump :bang:

Live and learn I say!

New Dome / IKEA Excursion

This past weekend after FINALLY breaking down and paying the $6 (free shipping too) for a set of new replacement LED dome bulbs....I put one in the main dome but got thwarted by the trunk. Seems one of 2 screws is SOOOO corroded that it stripped out.

Question 1:
Any solutions on how to remove a stripped out screw from a plastic dome lens?!?!?! I'm sure I have a replacement screw that will work....I just don't want to damage the lens since its original!

Sunday, took "Horn Head Hombre" to IKEA to pick up girlfriends new entertainment unit (boxed of course) curtain rod, and misc. things and realized how NICE it is to have a compartment BIG, LARGE & GRAND enough to put things like IKEA boxed goods in. Scored some MAJOR points for this.... :)

Question 2:
In the "As-is" dept of IKEA, they had a large mattress that looked like it would spread out nicely in the back of "HHH" for camping and extended excursions. Does anyone know a mattress size that would fit around the wheel wells? This folding futon type pad was a queen size. My estimation was it was TOO big. Any thoughts??? This would be perfect as it was capable of folding up into a roll for better storage.

Cheers,
James

Buy yourself a set of easy outs - will save you many a headache!

If it's a futon mattress, it will probably sort of form to the wheel wells, though it might end up a little narrow there. Worst case, build yourself a sleeping platform above the wheel wells...
