Ticking off small projects while I wait for parts that are keeping this thing from being a driver again. I remounted my shocks in the correct orientation ( for some reason I mounted them as if they were struts with the shaft at the top)

I also did a little craigslist rebuilding on the sway bar bits, air box and steering stabilizer mount.

I'm waiting on a longer front frame to axle brake line, sway bar end links and bushings from Toyota and a master cylinder gasket.

Things needing to be done
  1. Install 80 MC once I get the gasket
  2. Install longer front brake line and mount the T fitting to the axle
  3. Weld in panhard brace bar and bracket
  4. Mount frame side stabilizer bracket
  5. Sway bar end links mounts
  6. Compare and set toe in relation to my 80 series that drives great.
  7. Bleed brakes
  8. Wheels on and enjoy that sweet sweet coil life

Got my AC fixed also. Not really but did drag this out of the weeds and took about 3 minutes to get started back up after a year of living in the weeds. Now to figure out the no idle. Bought it last year for parts last registered 09 said it ran when parked. Got it started last year. Stole some parts and pushed it off to the side. Time to move the parts vehicle pile for land clearing so if it’ll run on its own power will be nice.

Dang! I really like how the parts vehicle turned into a pick up truck! Must be one of the rare versions that never made it to the NA market! 😜
