Getting ready to do mine as well. Any issues you came across. Did you take everything apart to the cover and run up to temp then pull cover and adjusted?

Just ran it up to temp and removed air filter, hoses, vacuum lines, valve cover and adjusted. The head is a huge heat sink and retains the temps long enough to adjust the valves while keeping everything hot to warm.

Drove the 60 up to Central CA for the day to do some Asian pear picking at my cousins farm.
60 ran excellent.
Met up with another 60 at the gas station (no pic). Admiring each others rigs.
It was a good day!

Finally removed the 90s window tint. Shop down the road wanted $200. Wife had a clothes steamer and I had 2 hours to kill. Looks so much better. Will do clear ceramic tint soon.

i’m just pining for my 62. still having the engine/drive line refresh done. some delays so i don’t have it back yet. it’s coming almost 18 months since i’ve driven it!! i’m in withdrawal i have parts on my work bench just waiting that keep reminding me how much i would like it back. its an illness and this forum gives me an outlet to those who understand

Will do. It'll be soon rather than later. It's still pretty warm here and I can tell a difference now without the tint.

It’s GOBI time! Prepped the rack for install. Threw a good coat of wax on the roof too. Just barely fit back in the garage!
