Spent 4 days in Vermont at The Pilgrimage previously known as the Vermont Overland. Amazing event. Wheeled on some great trails, broke stuff, fixed at camp and continued šŸ˜€

Over the last 2 weekends, does that count?

Took manifolds off because I found a crack/leak, rebuilt the carb and adjusted the valves. the manifolds are at the machine shop getting planed and spot faced. Once those get back will be putting everything back together. Hopefully, this will get rid of my pinging issue. Should also run really well after all of this. It ran good before, but this should make it run better. Not drag strip better, but better for a slow 2f. :)

Umm, I may have a little problem with OCD! Waiting on Matt's replacement fuel vent hoses then will put the passenger side back together. Moving slowly to the driver's side and will pull that panel open soon. I have all the doors insulated and replaced all the weatherstripping! She may not be fast, but now will be able to hear people speak in the cabin!

They are available from Toyota. I purchased mine from the dealer to save on shipping and to get it in it’s original flat form.
Thanks, I remember you had mentioned that. I guess I could try a Toyota dealer here in Germany. (Do you have the part # ? I think you posted it in th other thread, I'm just being too lazy to go looking for it. lol And just wondering if @JoeW had possibly found it somewhere else maybe online?

Thanks m
Here’s the part number. Be aware some online vendors will happily ship but fold it up to save on shipping 😱. My dealer actually came in the cheapest once one factored in shipping

Thanks much. I found it and the clips online for a resonable price but look at the shipping cost to central TX.

Is there no local dealership for you? When I called mine they found one in inventory in Boston and I paid -300 out the door, no shipping charges.

Nope, sorry. I got mine from Lake City Toyota in Seattle. I get wholesale pricing since I'm in the industry. I just walk in and buy stuff from them and have it next day if its in the PDX warehouse. I have no online juju to help out overseas unfortunately.

I was able to find a dealer close to the rebuild in Texas so hopefully we can get it in before she's shipped.
