What starting issues were you having? Cuz I have intermittent starting issues.. And my links don't look great.
Mine were intermittent as well, occasionally the igniter connection was so frayed that it would it turn but never start. I realized it was the fusible links after I changed out all of my battery cables and grounds, had it running but just moving the FL wires a little bit would cause the truck to stall, good thing it happened in my driveway and not on the road.

@Coolerman rebuilt my FJ62 fusible links years ago. Top notch work.

I also need to replace the fusible link in my HJ61 - are there any differences in 24v links versus 12v ones for FJ62?

PM me photos please @Paco

i will study them and advise you further ,

i don't have your answer now , buy WILL indeed after i see pics of your set up for sure

fundamentally NO , connectors are connectors 12v or 24v

Fusible Links Leeds however my gut says are way more heavy duty gauged in some way shape or form on a Diesel Land Cruiser ..........

and your various Connectors will be way more Exotic and NON-USA far away different too possibly and most likely , but careful R&D will win the day :)

Mods, can you guys sticky this thread like all the other forums on this site?

Installed a Wit's End fire extinguisher mount and what was on hand regarding the fire extinguisher and QuickFist mounts.
I may go to a smaller extinguisher but I'll run it this way for awhile to see if the size is a problem or not.

does it have a key code stamped on the shaft on the reverse side ?
No it doesn’t. The dealership key I have been using does, however.

The Wife, pup, and I loaded up "The Beast" for its maiden camping trip and I suppose I would call it a... half success?
We got about 20-30 min outside of town on our way to Gallagher Canyon and she overheated something fierce (boiling)
after pulling out the battery powered fan and putting in some new coolant, we decided to head back for home.

after about 15 minutes, the temps seemed fine so we called an audible and headed to Fort Kearney SRA just a few minutes from town and camped there.

looking back, I never thought to check the coolant and there's a small leak from the water pump so that's likely the cause. I went ahead and ordered a new water pump, Tstat, rad cap, and fan clutch just to rule everything out. this truck hasn't gotten much love in the 30 years before I owned it so i'm not surprised.

hopefully in the next few weekends we can make it back out and try again!
