Definitely makes a noticeable improvement, not exactly sure if it’s worth the cost though. Seems the high beams are awesome now but the low beams are still way behind modern vehicles.

It's the little things. My headlight gasket was dried, cracked and hanging out at the bottom. $12 from Ebay, enough to do 4 lights:

I got some pond liner and I'm going to try cutting that to shape for the side light gasket

I have used close cell foam sheets sold at craft stores to cut new light gaskets from. It comes in different colors. I've used gray and black, depending on what the OEM gasket color was.
why would you try to jerry rig something up when this stuff is so darn cheap? already has a thin strip of foam tape on it to hold it in place.
I meant for the gasket behind the side light. But I'll try your suggestion for the surrounding gasket fir the whole assembly.

Drove 45 mins to get some of the good stuff. Casey’s in Belvidere, IL. Used pure-gas.org to find this place. Only had it on four pumps out of twelve.

Sanded down and painted an FJ60 lower valance to complete the 62->60 7" Truck-Lite conversion Torfab did.
Rattle-can painted in 153 Warm Grey Metallic, which was the factory color. Don't know what the truck was resprayed with, so no chance of matching it.

R2.8. Just picked it up from Tor for a conjugal visit. Need to start a build thread.
Between the valance paint, whatever the color the powder coater used on the core support, and the truck body color it's, um, interesting? I'll have Kelly Saad sort it all out with fresh paint in Jan.
