With some help from our 6 cylinder J.Deere the body and chassis are in love again.

Now allot of work could go in her again.

70774984_2333196250112140_73961784968478720_n.jpg

I first had the thought
70038365_2333195096778922_6765043218888261632_n.jpg
to do all the sanding and filling of the welds myself but that was out of the window fast ;).
Got myself an expert:

70149948_2333195090112256_2149998849568014336_n.jpg

He made allot of effort in a nice surface to paint on.
70204423_2333195003445598_348407274605117440_n.jpg

Meanwhile I was assembling the truck.

70236270_2333194843445614_2812738021604982784_n.jpg

Also the 12HT got an upgrade:
71149236_2333194840112281_2310071503300853760_n.jpg

Brand new Wink4x4 turbo. (google him!)

70143076_2333194690112296_5659363330880438272_n.jpg

Had to upgrade the bracket to make it fit good.

The tank come in. I ditched all the vent holes and only kept the 1 filler one.
70419668_2333194573445641_6647265728049184768_n.jpg

The tank was a two man job but after allot of elbowgrease I did it:
70457710_2333194583445640_288946141041524736_n.jpg

Meanwhile I did the throttle clip as no new proper clip could be found :
70337094_2333194306779001_743124746316546048_n.jpg

69942472_2333194366778995_4660553387522129920_n.jpg

The hood/bunnot came on and fitted some tailgate gas-studs. In the end they were to soft and old so I have to replace in the future.

Also do you spot the new Led Lights? The are E certified 4Sky headlight.
69974768_2333192833445815_6081328620578537472_n.jpg

Meanwhile there was a hot summer (hottest ever measured in the south part of The Netherlands).

70502005_2333187126779719_4660644518138216448_n.jpg

When attaching the rear lights it wouldn't work. I and a good smart mate discovered this:
69919581_2333189683446130_1863769120722386944_n.jpg

One in her life there was a cable fault. They put to much power to the rear light cable and the black light was a replacement.
I didnt think the wires were that bad so:
70730369_2333187593446339_6824854310682099712_n.jpg

Found some good second hand.
It was a big disappointment to me that the wires weren't okay. I had the finish line in sight and this was a bummer.
But with some good help it all came good and nice. I learned soldering and all that stuff!

70379661_2333187333446365_3559240175584280576_n.jpg

It all came together again!
70228136_2333187133446385_8073805674800218112_n.jpg

And the car was almost drivable!
But there still were some issue. I checked the brakes and the Ebrake didnt came on (it didnt came on when the car was driving 2,5 years ago).
So there is the problem. All rusted:
70201977_2333187063446392_8154100294557368320_n.jpg

Thank god the almost biggest Toyota land cruiser specialist is 30 minutes drive (all american import) (dont ask why the name it that way).
70032515_2333187050113060_514303302695911424_n.jpg

Greased it allot.
70086512_2333186996779732_3032101135491006464_n.jpg

Next day the car was driving out of the workshed for the first time in 2,5 years.

71285109_2333186993446399_7240765594868383744_n.jpg

It was an unreal moment that it felt like a dream.
Still there was allot to be fine tuned.
The self adjuster was adjusting the rear brakes and also the master cylinder was set to deep.
With some good searching of this forum and also from the Australian 60 facebook group I came to tackle the problems:
70966275_2333186913446407_6119732440022908928_n.jpg

Washers!

I fitted the front guard that was collecting dust for 2 years:
70593238_2333186780113087_1376009403110522880_n.jpg

And then::::
70042851_2333186653446433_5534409770028498944_n.jpg

Road check was okay and I drove for 1000km without missing a beat!
Now I have some oil issues and smoke issues to sort out. After 2 years of standing its fine tuning :).
The turbo and fuel pomp is already tuned a bit by Wink4x4 (great mechanic and expert!).

Thanks for all the likes, help and support!!
More to come when the car is running smooth.
(i have some 75 series front spring coming, a intercooler and some more tuning planned)

After a long trip 500km I noticed a few things. The Volt meter went to 32volts (the good range is 28volts) so I had to look for a voltage regulator. A new one is €180 . But i did a google search and found a Toyota dealer in Belgium who had it for €60 shipped.

Old bottom.

Next is the 75 serie front springs and a new clutch slave. The clutch had a strange problem its way to soft. I fitted a clutch booster and some how its working to good. I am renewing every elelement in the clutch range. Already have a new heavy duty clutch, clutch master but. I hope I will get this done next week. After that I am going to begin to build the cargo area. New panels and a drawer system.

I fitted the new intercooler together with the builder Fabrequest – Technische Dienstverlening he also made the rock sliders (and rebuilds 12HT engines). Good guy with allot of knowledge.

Great build. Nice colour. Is that a German John Deere?
Thanks!!

Yes its a German one. The engines are build in France I believe. My father bought the John Deere new in 1987. The same your as I was born.

Hi Guys and Gals, I have a clutch problem. The pedal feel is to light. It works fine but the feel is way to light. Confirmed by two other 60 drivers. When I restored my 60 I upgraded the clutch with a heavy duty one, a clutch booster and a new master cylinder from terrain tamer. The only thing I did not replace was my clutch slave. I replaced the slave with a new today in the hope that it solved the problem. But to my disappointment the problem is still there. 😞. Can the booster work to hard? Or have to much vacuum? ( the vacuum tank is a double one, the vacuum line from the vacuümpump to the vacuum tank has a T section to the tank. There was only 1 vacuum out on the pump.
I hope someone will have a tip to fix this .
