Are those for the factory sliding side windows? How many sets are you rebuilding? My parts book only shows 3 per window?

Do you have the sliding inner seals and related trim parts part numbers?

Thanks

They are for the non-US sliding rear windows. They are slightly different dimensions a little narrower. From what I can tell there are three on the bottom and one on the rear of the window (4 in total per window)

There are a group of us in Seattle working on this together on this project so they are parts for 3 window sets.

I think there are a couple more parts numbers that we are trying to source (outer 3/4 window gasket). We have been slowly adding to this thread.

Rear sliding windows - rebuild (step by step - LOTS of pics)

We will also be doing a complete write-up with parts numbers and sources once we have everything and add to the thread above.

I have the same windows and recall the thread you started, but could not find it. Search has been acting odd, at least for me, for a few weeks.

I will check your link.

Thanks

I will go through this too. I've got a set of 1985 sliders, in need of all the rubber, and two latches. Mine were bought as installable, and
are basically junk. At least the glass isn't broken. Thanks for doing this.

Pulled the wiper motor and wiper arm assembly and greased all pivot points. Then cleaned out 27 years of crap that was piled up in there.

Installed new rear view mirror, new rear taillight lenses, and old D pillar trim piece. It's aging and the plastic is disintegrating. If anyone has a good set...let me know.

Hi Franklin
all the windows came out easy with putting some wooden pieces around the rubber.
I will reuse the rubber but I dont put that chrome stuff back in to the rubber because its a pain in the ass and usless.

Had a try at Tractor Pulling with my 87 HJ60 2H-Turbo in the small town of Karl-Gustav in Sweden.
It went great and I finished 3rd in my class (below 3500kg) out of 14 contestants. One big Unimog, me, only Japanese vehicle :) and the rest old Volvo and IH tractors.
Had a blast and I am already planning for upgrades to the turbo and other stuff :)

Clip of my second pull:

Considering a small engine swap efter seing this one up close...

You will have to post up your build here somewhere, that old 60 looks far from stock! Glad to see that being a
redneck is a worldly sickness.

I got new rear quarters for my 85 diesel landcruiser going to cut out the old and mig weld the new ones in!

Drove up to Chinn's Lake to go fishing. Road up rated moderate; narrow, up hill climb with lots of rocks and one or two switchbacks. Not a ton of exposure. I let the :princess: drive up to the lake and she did a great job.

Here's a pano from the small lake (Sherwin?) above Chinn's. No fish caught, but still a great day on the trail with my wife and daughter.

Went camping at Deep Creek Hot Springs outside Hesperia, CA. Buddy gave me directions but I followed Google's directions instead, which abruptly took us off the pavement and onto a service road on BLM land for about 5 miles. Felt great to stretch it's legs. Got there to find a beautiful 40th anniversary parked at the top of the hill (last pic). Must have taken the same route.

So that's what those things look like new.. Wow the shifter is nice now! (New bushings in the linkage and interior.)

Next is that broken drivers side motor mount that allowed enough movement to tear open the tape job on my intake tube and stalled her out the other weekend, getting up to the other pics.
