The rear wiper was not making good contact with the glass even after changing wiper blades so I replaced the arm. Works great now. PN: 85241-60110
I had the same problem with the rear wiper, but fix it in a different way!

Camping in Hot Springs. Went through the Ouachita National Forest.

Resolved the high light bar issue, it now sits lower:

During a camping trip earlier this week (I went back the the outer banks hehe) I noticed metal against metal grinding sounds while braking, and during slow crawls. Walking around the car I noticed the rear left wheel had quite a bit of brake dust. Also there was a 1/2in strip of untouched surface with some rain spot rust all around the outer edge of the rotor, as though the pad never makes contact with that area. Made it 300 miles back home to take it all apart, yikes:

Suspecting it was a brake issue before the sketch drive home, I ordered rotors and pads from my tent at the camptsite, and they got delivered right on time for a weekend project. I got power stop rotors and pads.

Check out that bump stop :p

I also painted the calipers with some black rust reformer, they look like new! I'm not usually a fan of drilled rotors, I've just run slotted rotors on my other cars so I'll see how this turns out. I did the break-in procedure and also tightened up the hand brake from under the cup holder location, it was crazy loose. It feels pretty good when braking now.

My $.02 (no affiliation, just a happy customer) - go with Perry Parts for replacement bump stops.

From memory, I went with the same rotors above - also working out just fine.

Cheers!

Had to remove and re-install the front bumper to replace a bad wiring harness.

Are these the torque specs for where the bumper attaches to the crash bar mount?

48 ft-lb (front bumper cover). That seems low and inaccurate, but it’s all I can find.

Lil B’s does not provide torque specs. Neither do metal tech or arb when I checked their bumper install guides.

In the absence of a specific torque spec, If those are a M10 bolt (14 mm head), I'd probably torque them to the 48 ft/lbs, which is consistent with typical torque specs for metric fasteners. If they are a M12 (17 mm head) I'd bump them up to 75-80 ft/lbs.

Oh that’s awesome. Thank you for sharing. That’s a great reference. They are 14mm heads; so I’ll stick to the 48 ft lbs.

I've gotten a few custom panels from Blue Dog. They are pretty sweet, I've been working on sanding/filling/painting them as well (which has been surprisingly easy) and will post the end product in my build thread.

Had my passenger air bag let go this week, so i finally got around to doing the airbag delete. 4 hockey pucks, stainless hardware to mount them, moog isolators up top, energy suspension Isolators below, and a set of icon fj cruiser custom springs i got years ago from another onsc member. .stock height, 250# capacity increase. .added firestone bags, plumbed into the oem lines to keep the air functional . Still have the stock shocks for now. Nothing fell on me, or off the truck on the test drive, so ill chalk that up as a win.

nice… i have a similar-ish rear set with airbag delete, 4600 shocks, fj springs and the firestone bags. i have the bags independent from the air system though with a manual inflate via external shrader valve

Did you see my tree house!?!
Ha. Wasn't really looking up in the trees. Trying my best to keep the sticky side down and shiny side up on a few of those trails. My 9 yo was a little freaked out on a few that I decided to try. Would love to visit that place again!

There is a treehouse at Garvan Gardens in Hot Springs. Myself and three others did all the wood work for it.

Will add Hot Springs to our list! It's maybe 6 hours from here. It's been on the list, just pretty far down. My kids would love that place!

We did make it to Garvan Gardens for the Christmas lights. Amazing place. Unfortunately, the tree house was closed during the time we went, but we did get to see the the church. Was this your work too?

No way. The Anthony Chapel is not my work. But! To have the Treehouse in the same place as one of architectural masterpieces of the US is bretty cool!
