What is that program? On your phonem connects to OBD port?

@runningdrew
Torque on the Play store, it'll talk to any bluetooth OBDII reader (hell even the $10 ones are fine).

I've currently got the veepeak (which is nice b/c it's got contours to unplug it...) but used this one previously (until I tried to crack it open and pin out a toggle switch to the constant power pin lol)

Lets see pics on the GX!
Got to try and figure out what I'm going to do about this first.....🤔. I have a black replacement bumper, but I may attempt a restoration/modification to keep and trim this mangled silver bumper cover....not like anything I try will make it worse.

Just break out the heat gun and bondo!
🤣 Right?!
I plan on cleaning up those gaps and filling them with peices trimmed from the running boards and lower bumper lol. I think sanding, prepping and painting the black bumper I bought would be less work... ¯\(ツ)

and paint the fender flares and body cladding!!! :steer:

I'm leaning heavily on you, I think tone black on silver would be rad. You're half.way there ;)

And it's totalled, so what do you care?

Haha

You win. I think I'm going to leave it black for now, needs to be cleaned up and will look better, but time to put the fogs back in and bolt it all together. (my wife said the black is growing on her) Its all relatively easy to remove again to paint in the future when that happens..... now time to get an AZ level III inspection so I can insure/register it and drive it on the road legally. (not in the cover of darkness while testing suspension work in my neighborhood :p)

Another note, when removing the skin plates the bolts and corresponding nuts that bolts screw into on the frame were stressed and became stripped. Original bolts wouldn't go back in. They just fell out - threads were shaved. Purchased new bolts at Ace, installed last night, but felt it was a bit forced. If I have to remove the skid again, I'm not sure the same bolts will work again. I wonder how hard it is to tap a larger bolt thread pattern in the frame?

Mine have been jacked, I've replaced the aft 2 and the fore center with nutserts. . .
I think the black bumpers are a preview for eventual aftermarket. Consider blacking the body cladding too, or do a PS to test fit ;)

*googles Nutsert.....That would work. DId you need a rivet type drill gun to place? or can they be done with regular socket wrenches???

Can do with paired wrenches but proper tools.is moar ideal.

Swapped in some Weathertech mats (laser cut in the front, all-weather in the back), and snagged a few of those nice little containers that fit in the door handle area in each door. Nice place to stash things! Would like to get a new head unit installed soon.

I just got back from the Toytec store in Denver. After being on this forum for quite a while in my stock rig, I finally am joining the club and can live up to my name here: truck is getting lifted. After months of research and mental debates, I ended up going with something I had never even come across: Elka dual adjustable front and rear remote resvevoir system. Elka is a Canadian off road racing company and I think they just came out with this stuff (not sure on that).
The owner has the Elka installed on his 4Runner and personally gave me a ride to feel it (train tracks and industrial Denver roads, nothing serious). I thought it felt amazing especially after driving my truck over the same stuff on the way home. Also got the diff drop kit, MT conversion kit, SPC UCA’s, and the rear upper and lower control arms. Sales guy Bij was super helpful and great to work with.
With front bumper ordered from Dissent (in aluminum), and rear bumper from Mountain Passes Off road, I’m super excited so see the build materializing.
I’m having them install everything and it’s set up for next Tuesday. I’ll hopefully have some pics next week!

Lots of before measurements and pictures. Try to recreate same stop similar time of day and angles for after shots.
That's going to be an awesome transformation to dump all that at once!
What's you total expected front and rear lift?

I am planning those types of pics lol I should’ve gotten one today but didn’t. I have read most things on here, but what things should I measure? Total expected lift is unknown up to a point, I’m using my ‘04 with 180k miles and I’m not sure if it’s on orignalnsuspension or not. I mean they’re OEM, just not sure if anyone else replaced them prior to me getting it at 164k. I’m going to have the system set up for 2.5 inches I think. I’ve never lifted anything and really don’t know what I’m talking about but have read and researched enough to have a surface level understanding, which at least helps me ask the right people the right questions.
Also when I said I’m having them install everything, unfortunately it’s not the bumpers. Those are just ordered and I’m waiting on em. Plus I am trying to squeeze another $1000 out of the budget but it’s looking like I may be stuck on stock tires for a little while till I can buy the 255/80/17’s that are on the list.
