Just bought and unloaded the 1987 2f engine, tranny, and t-case to go into my 72 piggie. Still got some some work to do but spent most of the day unloading the engine and taking out the seats and most of the interior hardware in the pig.

Finished putting the throwout bearing in. The old one had a groove scratched into it. I'll post some pics tomorrow. I couldn't even turn the damn thing by hand. Anyway, I abhor stabbing that transmission/transfer case combo back in.

What's bringing you down these parts man! Well have to get you some good TEXAS Bar-Be-Que.

I think you mean WOman....he he.

Any new pics of your rig htown?

So sorry! I shouldn't assume. I like weman much more then man anyway. I try to post some today.

:) I don't take offense. Not a lot of us WOmen around with piggies. Makes us special! :)

I am here for work. I live in Rice Village and would love some good Texas BBQ! I don't have any pics yet, but we've only been here for a week, so give me time!

The TLCA group meets up every third thursday in Memorial Park you can't miss us out there with the swine assortment. My 55 is in it's last stages of it rebirth so I have been out in the tow rig.

Drove all the way down Padre Beach 65 miles on the sand. Did break an exhaust hanger so you can see piece of a tshirt holding the exhaust up. ha!

That looks like fun! Man I wish i could have made that trip. Our two rigs on the same trail would make some great pics

How did that happen?

I have no idea. It is 41 years old. The whole harness under the hood and my ignition was smoking, and the wires that I can see(that weren't warped) are completely melted.

Drove it to get groceries. A new definition for grocery getter! I realized that while on the car hauler, it got bounced around pretty badly when I realized it wasn't in 2wd all the way. In and out of 4-wd twice and all was well.

put the blue pig to work today picking up five new tires for the 80
