I took clutch parts down to ACC to finish up the pre-move maintenence. ACC put on the Trollhole carb, fixed the manifold leak, foudn a little clutch issue (not a big deal), and fixed the rear window. I also dug through all my parts and trashed the worthless stuff and get the other stuff ready to pack.

Just brought the 87 2f home from south carolina and about to get it rebuilt. Still looking around NC for a good place for a rebuild. Stripped the inside and about to start the sand blasting of the tub and frame

Put it on a car hauler headed to Texas

Modified my 4L80E Transmission so my Advanced Adapter kit to marry it to the stock T-case would work. Very unhappy with the kit so far. There is nothing advanced about it. What a crock of sh$%!!! Poorly engineered adapter. Im really not happy for the price of $630!

I live in houston and were alway looking for cruiser heads in the TLCA houston group. I'm the only 55 in the bunch. I'm me when you get in town and maybe we cand get our pigs together.

good to know, for that price what did they do if you don't mind me asking? I am hoping I can get mine done at maaco or earl scheib for about 3k with bodywork.....

That was a big hook up from a friend it would have costed about 8k for anyone else. and he had it for almost a year

I put on a m12000 Warn and Hi-lift jack mount. After I got it all done and working my scrap guy drives by and low and behold a Warn 8472 bolted to a dodge bumper. So I ask him how much and the Cruiser gods shined down cause he gave it to me. I now want to put the 8472 on but I just spent all that money on the 12000. Crap

PO had a Maaco paint job done on my pig just before I bought it. He paid $2500. It looks good from 40 feet away, but don't look close. They did not paint door edges, hood edges etc. . They left dent in the doors and rear quarter pannels too. PO said he had to decide what to fix and wher to stop spending $$. I wish it had been a bit better but at least I won't mind so much if a scratch thing up.

Well, being a obesesive compolsive type of guy. I have found myself way behind in the what have I done to the pig today, So, here it goes. I found that my tired F motor had two bad cyclinders and the valve job I had done at the local machine shop didnt help. Luckly I found a 2F motor to replace the tired 1969 F motor. From my find this treasure had not only been running one day before I got it, but came with a dui distributor, headers, new weber carb, four speed trans and t case. I have done alot of work getting this motor ready for its new home and today was the day that she lived. My good buddy (ROB) was there to help and hear her for the first time. What a great sound:) From hear I am working on getting her road ready. So I will update in my next post with a pic. Long live the iron Pig

Installed a radio with speakers in door. Reran all the wiring to two new fuse panels.

Took her for a drive and had a few issues... gotta love these old things. I guess I caused a few shorts with my new wiring...
