learned a bit about welding body panels. it's tough, but i think i'm getting the hang of it.

what i cut out, where i cut it out from and the final result (ignore the chrome paint...need to protect the metal and couldn't find anything else. whole fender will get ford blue again after i patch the lower corner)

Welded more patches to the roof, finished the paint on one door. Next door will be done tomorrow. Has anyone put bondo over por-15? I want to protect all my finished work and I was gonna por-15 all the door frame/roof area, but I also wanted to use filler to smooth out the roof section. I'd like to put por-15 down first because the area is still pretty rusty and I'd hate to think what filler is doing to the area underneath all the paint.

Por15 has a primer they offer for over their product. I think if you use that in between you will be fine

Wow.. hardcore! I have never heard of re-arching springs without heat... I bet that was something.
actuallly some one tell me the is the best way to rearc your springs and have to bend and after that ping it a hammer, dont ask me what that does to the spring, but better send the springs to a shop that does that kind of work is always better

I got a box of new raingutter clamps for my old Con-Fer rack...so I put the rack back up on the Pig. Love these new clamps.
