I dried it...and I could actually see the rust form :( On a plus note, I now have air power!
EDIT: Took the heater out. Got a battery tie down. This weekend I'm gonna do the doors and hood and then hopefully mount them up.

Finally got my new front driveshaft welded together. C-joint and over 10" of spline travel. Much better, it does not bind on full drop. Now I think I will change the power steering lines. I have a transmission cooler from a highlander that I am planning on using for the power steering. It is not very big and it fits perfectly behind the grill beside my 16" auxillary fan.

Fixed a heater hose that had rubbed through on an exposed bolt. Found that the hose was obsolete so I had to use a brass connector to bypass the broken section.

What are folks doing when hoses and other wear parts come up obsolete?

Replaced three studs on the rear 80 axle. Probably gonna strip the e-brake drums off. I had thoughts of hooking them up, but they are just a corroded mess. Never a good design, the Cliffs ORP mud has done them in.

Decided how to re-locate my shocks too.

Spent most of the spare time in the shop rebuilding a A343 for the LV.

Peeled up my floormats to witness the damage done to a winter of exposure...:crybaby:

Just the front floorboards were bad thank goodness.

Yesterday played with the carb some and today gave it some new/used shoes... Almost ready to dance

:bounce2::bounce::bounce2::bounce::bounce2:!
