nice swap, the air filter assamble looks very nice, the engine setup is very clean, keep walking

My only issue with those types of air filters is that you are sucking in warmer air from the engine bay. I'd prefer to suck the air from the front of the truck more like OEM. Cooler air means denser air which means more power and everyone likes power!

When I get the snorkel installed on my '60 then the rubber extension that takes air from the front of the truck will go on the FJ55 to extend that intake further to the front.

I hope to see you later this spring when I head down.

Did some light sanding and coated the whole interior with POR15

OINK OINK!!! You realize we are all on a one way road, right? Welcome to the program!!!

the vinegar and water solution that installed my new HEI Dizzy was waaaay off on the timing, 20 degrees to be exact...I went to smog it and it was emitting 2500ppm of HC...with the timing and carb set properly I am now at 347ppm HC....the techs in my shop couldn't believe a carb, no cat vehicle could be that clean. PIG PRIDE!!

The elixir mentioned above by ABQ would be a Douche bag...on the HEI install I am thinkin

Today was 50+ and sunny so me, the :princess: and Jake-e-boy put about 150 miles on Pigwald  :bounce: ...To be fair, I peeled the tarp off Cochon and at least fired that little piggie up and let it get up to temp. Every piggie has its day...:steer:

Oh put some sliders on :princess: FJC this afternoon too !
