Overthought my suspension lift.

Rotated the tires and found this:

I don't know how long I drove with this screw in it but I didn't lose any air until I unscrewed it.

Props to Oro Valley Discount Tire for the repair.

Also did the usual lube job & bolt tightening routine.

Quick getaway to escape the heat, it was 50 and raining at Big Lake today...

Confused, thought you lived in the White Mountains? Come on down to the valley if you want to know what heat is that needs to be escaped from. I'm sure most of us are jealous of the temperatures right now in the White Mountains.

I do, yeah I know...

It was 95 in Show Low yesterday and that's pretty damn hot for us. No AC in most homes up here either.

My cabin is at 7,000' feet and about the same temperature as Flagstaff which is cooler. I have A/C only problem is it's still in boxes in the garage.:bang: Next year hope to be there most of the time. Should be able to get it installed. For reasons beyond my control I rarely get there now. When I did get up there I was able to cool the place off at night using a box fan in one window and opening another window at the opposite side of the cabin. Wife complained about being to cold in the morning but keep it under 80 degrees inside until it was time to open the place up in the evening. Not really a option in the valley. Just doesn't cool off in the evenings in June like it use too.

Overthought my suspension lift.

I thought your suspension lift consisted of welding steel plate to the underside of your receiver to replenish as needed?:hillbilly: What did you come up with?

pizza cutters

Looks like a good start, NV4500? P pumped too! :grinpimp:

I cleaned out the AC evaporator on the 100 last night. Look what I found!
Also took the fan out and started to clean it. Both had plastic wrappers from a pack of cigarettes.

Was a pain to get the 8 screws off of the evaporator cover, one is behind a dash piece. The fan required a special Torx bit. Glad I had the bit.
Reassembly will be tonight, hopefully.

If you find any money its the previous owners:grinpimp:

I may need to haul some excess silver to a friends house for a trade.

4 New 285/75 KO2's
New JVC deck
Freon, need to do a leak check next
Oil change to 15w40 (doesn't seem to like the heavier oil, may change back to something thinner)
Removed the bruiser boards,
getting ready for sliders
New brakes (they still suck!!)
Cleaned her up a little and set off on a 1300 mile round trip from Midland to Houston and then to the murky waters of the Texas Gulf Coast an back home.Ran like a champ, sucked down a buncha fuel, road walks a little. But overall, I was proud as all get out on how well The Minion performed, deep sand and highway.
