@medtro and @Saddletramp helped me with replacing the alternator. I was having a loud whining noise from the engine bay that I couldn't pin down. Checked the charging and was barely getting 12.5 volts.
There are two different model numbers for alternators in the 2004 model year, pre and post June. Mine was built in March. Part number I had was 27060-50330. No one had that one available on Friday. So we went with the later model, 27060-50360. The only difference is a shield on the back of the older model, which only seems designed to make it a complete pain to wiggle out from underneath the truck. New one went in super easy.
Thanks again to Jackson and Steve for the help.

Let us know if the sound comes back, the other bearings on the tensioner and idler may need to be replaced.

Sadly, the death wobble while braking (>50 mph) has come back. I though balancing the tires had fixed it this spring. It has sat for 3 months while I did the interior and AC. I'll go back through all the usual suspects again and not drive over 50.![]()

Toyotas are fine, but we still own a Dodge. At least it creates it's own shade.

Hoping new tires will solve the issue with me Sequoia. I get a wobble even without braking. Rotated tires and helped. Think might a tire separating problem. Not a fan of the BFGs that were on it when we bought it. Costco has $70 off a set of four and penny install pre tire for the next week. Going with Michelin LTX. Funny the braking wobble is not constant. Running Michelin on the three other vehicles that I use on the highway. Best riding and longest lasting I've used. We'll if this solves the problem.
Which app are you swapping to?Finalized needed repair from my last travel, prepared and checked everything for my upcoming travel this week.
Loaded a new off-line street navigation app to my iPad. With all the choices Gaia offers I dont like any. The addition will allow me to run a split screen with roads on one side and topo on the other while tracking on both. And some of you thought my ability to stay in my lane was bad before.

Which app are you swapping to?
How does it run split screen? Not swapping adding to. Gaia is excellent providing Topo maps, Aerial maps, tracking, waypoints, and much more just not the highways and town information I want and how it is displayed. 'You Need A Map' app does it for my for in the way it presents highways, roads, and towns.
