Don't take it to hard mate nothing a welder and big hammer won't fix. Once its behind the bumper or bull bar you won't even see it. :)

I picked these up for spares as there in great condition I decided to strip all the old paint and give them a new paint. Now to bubble wrap and put in storage until needed. :)

Beno what's the chance of a front on pic off your bonnet so I can see where the windscreen rest cradles are supposed to bolt. I will need to lay the screen down for fitment but a photo will help.
Cheers mate:beer:

Is a winch going in with that awesome bumper?

Yeah, much happier that the ordeal is over, frame grinded down, captive nuts rethreaded for cleanliness and the bumper installed. Good to go. One project down, many more to go before I hit the road on Tuesday AM.

Tomorrow is the Terrain Tamer lift installation as well as new clutch slave cylinder.

Tomorrow night is tear down of front axle, cleaning of parts.

Sunday is reinstallation, all new bits and extended frame to axle brake lines. :)

Then finish the interior on Monday along with regular work, pack, install fridge, install new soft top for the ride (rain predicted).

How does the top section come off those doors is it bolted on top or like the old 40 series with the whole window and runners lifting out.

Both top frames and door skins are still available from Toyota.

Oddly, the top, removable frames are available in the US market.... well, at least the part is live.
