That'd work.
The parts world as we know it, will go down the crapper, if you're out of the office that long. Onur is already out somewhere.

Yes Dear.

That's a lot of beer.....:grinpimp:

How close is a good fishin' hole?

Yes, @elkaholic called it. I'm in Green River, WY. Rainbow trout from the bank at Flaming Gorge avg around 3#, about a 20 min drive straight south to a good spot.. Or you can fly fish at the Green River about 2 miles from the house.

Order my parts from Nic. Also known as Divemedic. Very happy that he was able to find all the parts for they are not available from Amayama. But he was able to locate all. Order rear floor mat, middle floor mat, rear door panel, quarter panel. All in slate gray color for SWB70.

Is there anyone in the Darwin area going out tomorrow that is willing to take a stranded yank to see the countryside? I'm in Darwin for the weekend and drooling at all the Cruisers on the road. I would like to get out of town if anyone has something planned and room for one more.

I fixed the lack of illumination for the HVAC controls and the lower switch panels .... :)

I broke the freaking temperature slider on the HVAC controls after reinstalling while testing function (it don't now ) :censor::censor::flush:
Fixed the issue I created in this post. I intended to remove the controls to get them to a gentleman who rebuilds them. In disassembling the dash, I found a white plastic retainer clip. Once the dash was stripped down, I started trying to remove the plastic clips that hold the cables to the controls.

4 hours later, I conceded defeat. But I determined that the retainer I found would go back into position to retain the temp lever. After lubing cable with dry graphite spray, I reassembled everything and all is good.

No hammers or dynamite was used in the production of this effect and no Cruisers were permanently harmed, though the engineers who designed the controls and their mounting were called many unprintable names :)

I made a bracket for my fog light relay (I think that's what it is) and a backing plate for my 12 volt fuse box. Fuse box goes in the left side kick panel. I cut a hole in the kick panel and all the wires will be under it with the fuse box sticking out through the hole, as shown.

Allow me to interpret the above post ......
While I was trying to fix one thing, I screwed up something else. After some sage advice from a mechanical genius down South I was able to fix the thing I shouldn't have screwed up in the first place. : )
