I swapped my 33x10.5 KO2’s for 33x12.5 Duratracs. The offroad performance is top notch, the fitment is almost perfect and they even feel better on the road. I just hope the sidewalls hold up as well as the BFG’s.

I had the Duratracs on a Jeep years ago and loved them. My BFG’s would just clog up with mud and would slip.

I got stuck twice last week with my BFG’s and I went through the same lines today and didn’t have to pull line. That’s a solid win.

Remove fuel lift pump, by the looks of it the crud indicates lack off you know what. As for the gum bush repair of the drain off.
Then I found a spectacular attachment of the lower wing to the sill…there were in fact two wood coach screws wound in to meet some lovely spray foam in the sill. What the heck. Glad it’s all coming apart though.

Found a really good old style paint and body shop and had some rust repair done. There was a rust crack pushing through the paint in the lower corner. They repaired it perfectly and while the windshield was out we of course found other places so it was all repaired with new steel, sanded back and painted.

And they broke the windshield.

So I bought a brand new Toyota windshield delivered to the dealer for $359. (20% off sale and free shipping.)

Part numbers for the windshield and gasket by chance?

Rubber screen surround: 5612190K01 10 left @ partsouq
Screen N/A…alternative: 5611160230. But do check these are for your vehicle

I used 56111-60220 for the windshield. It's $402 from megazip plus like 100 for shipping. But I plugged that number into the local parts website in North Georgia and got the same item shipped for free plus a discount. It did take about ten days to arrive but they said it came from the warehouse in Miami.

The weatherstrip was 56121-60120. I got it from Toyota parts Depot as they they had it far cheaper. If I remember correctly it wasn't available from the dealer website.

This is for my 95 LHD troop carrier remember, so not sure if any of this moves over to any other trucks.

Finally got my seats figured out. Originally came with a 76 or 79 series drivers seat that was really comfortable. The 75 series DS was apparently moved to the PS instead of the original 3/4 bench. It was very ragged... Bad foam, shredded upholstery. So I finally got a 79 series DS and had the two melded together at an auto trim shop so that I had a new seat on correct 75 series rails that sit flat on the flat 75 series DS floor. Altogether about $600 but worth it to me.

Is that just a re-painted ARB bumper, or is it something else?

That's an ARB bumper that's been painted. I (a local trailer place) also added two 2" receivers which I use all the time.

Same drill different day.....

Black basket plugs into 2" receiver and gets used ALOT on tractors, trailers, trucks etc. Very stout made by Trail Taylor (many thanks Jason! - still going STRONG)

I think you need to carry another saw...I've been wanting to build a saw mount for my rear bumper or tire carrier. I don't carry my saw that often as I frequent the desert more than wooded areas, but have been stuck behind a downed tree and forced to improvise with a hatchet & limb saw more than once in the mountains. It'd be nice to have a secure mount for a chain saw outside the vehicle.

What seat covers are those?

Looking for some ideas while I'm troubleshooting. 1994 KZJ78 with the 1kz-te and I'm getting intermittent engine lights. Oil was changed yesterday with new filter, new fuel filter/housing within the last month and I've checked the transmission fluid and it was full. Engine light only comes on when it hasn't warmed up and when I make left turns or accelerate quicker than normal.

Car does not function any differently than normal and based on what's triggered it so far I thought it would be fluid related. Cooling system also seems to be ok and I can't think of any other fluid that would have a sensor that would be tripped when the car is cold. I'm not leaking any fluid either. The light has never come on when turning right either, this has me thinking it's a fluid sensor somewhere on the left side of the car.

Since these cars do not have any obd2 ports, how have other people troubleshoot engine lights in the past?

You should be able to put a jumper between two of the pins in the diagnostic port and the engine light will flash a diagnostic code. I don’t recall the specifics but there should be some threads on the subject. The service manual should also have a procedure for checking trouble codes.
