When not working on someone's Land Cruiser, Rob does a little custom fabricating. In this case limbs kept cracking the windshield and overhead glass on this tree removal crane so Rob built a custom cage to protect the very expensive glass. Perhaps there is an application for those die-hard off-road Cruiser guys. :)

Ignore the post-2004 front. But this'll give you an idea of the plans in hand. :)

Saw in @c2dfj45 thread that you are looking for ideas for this conversion. I suspect you've already seen Meano conversions but if not here's a link to some pictures:

Looking forward to seeing what you put together. I remember following along on your 4 door 40 build. Cool truck.

The fact that the installation instructions were printed in 4 different languages leads me to believe they really want you to place the floor mat on the drivers side. :)

Beginnings of an interior build on troopy. Between strip of interior, laying damplifier pro and spectrum down (probably wouldn't do again, stuff is nasty, a good liner material would've been better for versatility for me and no more irreversible), remembering how to work with wood building the chuckbox, and the unseasonably rainy and cold weather it has taken a lot longer than intended!

Plan on having it serviceable for a few days out over new year's.

One thing of note, I'm definitely planning on maintaining access to the areas behind the trim panels, there is a not insignificant amount of space to be had there. Good place for lesser used items.

I must be getting better at this stuff. When I rebuilt the right-side steering knuckle last year, it took a week. Doing the left side a few days ago only took 4 days!

Thanks to Cruiser Outfitters for the kit and the detailed instructions.

The rear cab floor will be raised a bunch to clear the giant pump mounted midship. You have some work ahead of you if you want the rear seat usable.

I thought that’s why they raise the roof so much

You'll see what I mean when it arrives.
I think my Challenge will be relocating the gas tank!

Back in the stock location (after all the fire aparatus has been removed). You will need a different tank than what's currently in the truck however.

If you will be looking for a home for the roof lights or hoses if it comes with any please let me know. The museum may be able to put them to use.

I don’t believe there’s any hoses, but lots of nozzles, lights, and a weird Japanese battery charger, How would you get these things from Colorado. And are you looking for a donation or something else?
