Fancy ones with remote doo-hickeys
The TT version can be adjusted by hand while the ARB version requires a tool and we all know I can't use tools. :)

I thought you had to have a touch screen and a joystick .....

Are you referring to the OME BP-51 or older OME LTR's? Are the TT Pro's adjustable rebound and/or compression?

Checked a few maintenance items off the list. Unfortunately had to use a shop for most of it because I'm without a garage at the moment, but fortunately the mechanic I use is a great guy and while not super experienced with LCs is willing to read all the ih8mud forum posts I send his way! Thanks and @cruiseroutfit and @Gun Runner 5 for parts help.

  1. Motor/transmission mounts (what a difference!)
  2. Clutch/rear main seal
  3. OME inversion shackles and bushings
  4. LED dome light and parking lights
  5. Lengthened count down timer wires and moved it from under the steering column to the side of the dash where I will hopefully stop bashing it with my knee every. freaking. time.
  6. Legally Texas titled!

Hello,

Chance's slave clutch cylinder gave up the ghost. Thankfully, it happened at home.

I replaced the cylinder. Part Number 31470-60171. From what I found out in the parts catalog and the FSM, Toyota has apparently used this model on both gasoline/petrol and diesel Land Cruisers since around 1992. Before that, gassers used a different part.

Out with the old. The cylinder looked like it had been there since the truck left the factory.

The master cylinder gave up the ghost as well. Alas, the local dealer wanted a lot of money and my first born for it, because it was not in stock -an import was necessary. Nevertheless, a repair kit was available. I decided to go this way. Part number 04311-60100, master cylinder kit.

The old plunger and spring are in the picture. Again, they look like they have been in there since factory.

No pictures of the installation, because I messed with the fluid. Draining and purging are -to me- more complicated than they look.

The truck runs and shifts gears better now. I am saving for the new master cylinder assembly.

Hello,

Another replacement. I got this part with the clutch spares.

The accelerator spring was tired after 20 plus years. The replacement spring is cheap and available. Part number 90508-29017.

An easy change. Took the chance to tighten the cable. Big difference.

Yeah, I’ve been very happy with the Escape Gear seat covers. Very well thought out and well manufactured covers.

They also clean up very easy.

Cheers

Removed some stuff...

Taking the turbo and injector in for rebuilds tomorrow. Those injectors were a pain in a** to get unseated. One of the turbo to manifold studs came free of the manifold and I'm having a hell of a time trying to get the nut off. All in all, what should have taken a couple hours took me half a day.
