@OGBeno Tacoma stole the (no longer needed for the 74) Studded snows on steelies.......

Bye-bye Tacoma frame.
shush you! Not all trucks can live in the TLC museum

.....its the second frame already and I fluid film it. should get a couple couple of Winters out of it.....🧂=

Can you explain the details of your battery charging setup? I'm looking to copy you for my 73 hibernating as well.
This is what I do....(If its wrong please let me know/don't be shy)....I use the 24 volt tender shown in the photo above (post #14,021) and hook a red clamp to the Pos. post on one battery, and the black clamp on the negative post on the other battery.....

This method charges the "battery bank" as a unit, like the alternator does. However it does not "balance" the individual batteries within the bank. It is possible to over-charge one battery and undercharge the other when charging the bank as a whole. I prefer to "maintain" the batteries individually to keep the balance.

One man's method.

It's as if that 1HZ was meant to be there! ;) Still looking clean, Rob. Nice.

I wrote to Noco support after 'doing my own research!" and getting confused. They recommended the Gen5x2 model for my 24v dual battery set-up. Works a champ.

@Guyute & @stayalert - Thanks! I have the NOCO 5x2 2x2 in my garage currently as well. They say to charge the batteries separately as 12v units, which makes sense. My current goal is to replace my battery cables/terminals with something better, incorporate their quick-connect eyelets to plug into for charging, and I'm also trying to see if I can add a disconnect switch to the full circuit. That way I can use that instead of having to undo the connection at the terminal whenever I need to work on electrics. Does this all make sense? I'm no electrical engineer so I'm open to thoughts.

Thanks & good stuff....I will contemplate modifying my set up....

yes individual charging is the way
you will notice when doing this one is always lower than the other, only way to correct this is doing each by there own charger

Think it makes sense. I don't isolate the batteries either. The eyelets are PITA so having a quick disconnect would be nice. Can you buy two sets of their alligator clips that the eyelets then connect to?

Keep us posted.

Will do, I need to update my thread anyways...

Basically instead of alligator clips clamping to the terminals, I'm installing "permanent" connections to the terminals. On the terminal end, an eyelet connector, and the other a quick-connect with cap. 20A fused <2ft cable.
