Yes nothing better than busting your knuckles on metal when it's cold outside.Yep, it sure is chilly in the northern hemisphere……, cold heavy fog, and no movement in the air…….still I plod on. Removing front leaf spring eye, did one, then thought I’d better do the other even if it wasn’t as bad.
I cut out old bush with a starret hole saw.
It seems you cannot get these eyes from anywhere, so managed to find an agricultural machinery store who makes all bushes/ eye mounts. With a bit more to take off for the rubber bush I machined it to make a snug fit.
