That should have bearing grease.I’m replacing calipers, rotors, brakes and e-hubs and have question about packing the spindle around the edges before putting everything back together. Would I pack this will moly or red bearing grease?

Thanks AirheadNut!!!That should have bearing grease.
When ripping all my stuff apart it had been filled with red grease. Thanks AirheadNut!!!
On the outside of the spindle you should have red bearing grease. If you pulled the spindle off however, or looked on the inside shaft of the spindle along the outer cv axle, you would see moly grease. When ripping all my stuff apart it had been filled with red grease.![]()

Watch this video. It is on an 80 series so I referenced the FSM for potentially different torque values and differences when you get to the freewheeling hub, but most is the same.
That case needs some lotion
I'm guessing Aquaphor doesn't supply that? For the record, we recommend gear lube![]()
That's a great use of a pillar pod!Modified/installed boy-racer gauge pod on the center console to accommodate the boost and water temp gauges...

I couldn't fine a suitable place to install the gauges, and had the pod laying around. Luckily it fit in the space. That's a great use of a pillar pod!
Not on purpose. The clamps that hold them in place would only fit in two positions, due to the shape of the pods. I'd have to glue them if I wanted them mounted "correctly".Are they clocked at a small angle for better driver 'at a glance' visibility?
