Interesting idea, would make sense except the power steering started 1/79 along with the square bezel.Clamps supporting power steering hydraulic lines?

These holes on the PTO are in the front and use a bolt in the bumper that without has a cartridge bolt.
If you’re suggesting those hose clamps, they are a few inches away from the holes in question.

That mirror-like finish black paint is orders of magnitude too nice for an FJ40.

My observation has nothing to do with your hose clamps. The illustration in my post is for brake tubing.If you’re suggesting those hose clamps, they are a few inches away from the holes in question.
