Don't count on it

I have never posted to a blog (or whatever these forums are called). I am a little clumsy, but ...it might help to introduce myself.

My first 4x4 was a '68 IH pickup. I swapped it for a '70 Roadrunner when I bought a new '79 Ford F250. I swapped that for an '80 CJ-5, which needed a MUCH bigger engine and everything else, which it got...eventually. All this occurred in the Basin and Range province of central Arizona.

Cut to Lousiana and several underused 4x4s. I am looking forward to meeting everyone, but I cannot find a meeting place or time. I just hope it isn't while I'm out of town.
 
Tim, keep an eye on the meeting thread. Also, I usually try to send out an email to everyone and use Facebook events. We hope to be able to meet you soon as well. And don't be afraid to post up here in our clubhouse. You'll get the hang of it.
 
how do become an "official" member ?

Well, Claudia spilled the beans about herself :lol:..........so, we need to welcome our newest member, Claudia. Claudia has a 72FJ40 and a 93FZJ80 and is in the BR area. Welcome and thanks for your support Claudia. :clap:

just to clarify: my 40 lives in Arizona (where I am a member of the Copper State Cruisers and most of my wheeling is done, and some in Utah :steer:) - here in Baton Rouge, we have only the 80 (mall cruiser :flamingo:)

my husband Michael is "ChaseTruck" here on MUD - he has an '85 GMC Jimmy, which also lives in Arizona

will be looking around for you guys - but since I am traveling a lot, may not be able to make it to meets regularly

hey you're in my new neck of the woods, i think there is a couple other guys up here also, we all need to get together and hang out.

Im missing my truck since i had to leave it at my dads till i can get a chance to go get it, of course i have a lot of work that needs to be done and the shop is at his house so i might jsut leave it there for awhile.

any of you guys around today? Im heading to bossier in a little while, gonna eat and go drive around to try and familiarize myself with the area.
