Year One
Full of piddly little aesthetic mods and such.

I purchased it on 3/12/11 from Yokem Toyota in Shreveport, LA. Awesome group of guys over there. The next week I broke her in on a trip to Orange Beach

Now the real mods begin

Installed an OME/Toytec light duty 3" lift. Affectionately known as Operation Gingerlift! Big thanks to Brunes and everyone else in Cajun Yotas that helped out

Then began the search for rubber. Matt (Blueanimal) gave me 4 Firestone Desination MT's that he had laying around and was kind enough to let me borrow his rims until I could get them swapped over

Added a set of Satin Black FJ Cruiser wheels with the Destination MT's

Well that's a good looking 4R ya got there!

You ready for SCC?

I'm not going to be making the trek to SCC this year. With school I wouldn't be able to leave Baton Rouge until about 4 on Friday and would have to leave pretty early Sunday to make it back. It's not worth it to me to drive 16 hours and only be able to wheel one day. That's why I went on the Kisatchie trip this weekend.

Looks great but boo on the V6. ;)

I just realized your rigs only 2WD! You planning on converting later? Nice...tearing up the trails anyway. :)

-Daniel

That would be a waste of money.

I've been told on the Taco of similar year it's not that much...didn't think it would be much different.

-Daniel

Yea, shoulda had a V8. I do like your build, though.

Thanks!

That would be a waste of money.

The only reason I would convert it to 4x4 is if I went SFA and uses it as just a trail rig. Since I'm only a sophomore in college I'm really just planning on tying up a few loose ends and leaving it until I graduate. Or, the more likely scenario will have me trading it in for a 2013 Cement Gray FJ TT after graduation and mod that up.

Ahhh...to be young again! :D
