Does anyone know roughly what the temps are at the hash marks on the temp gauge? I'm running a 350 in my 78 and need to calibrate my electric fan controller. Just need somewhat of an Idea of the the hash mark temps are.

Thanks
Todd

No use in even trying. It is basically just an idiot light in disguise. Get an aftermarket temp gauge with numbers and wire it up. Way more accurate than dealing with the stock gauge.

Good luck!

Like Freak said..... The low one is coldish and the top one is hotish.

If you are still running the Toyota Sender in your 350 than it will likely run fairly colse to stock. I think the stock Cruiser Thermostats ate 185*F ish (stock is in *C) and you likely have a 195* thermo in your 350. If you realy care you will have to get an aftermarket gauge with real number on it.

Or you can run your motor until you feel your thermostat open up and set it slightly above that !
