^^^ NO... It's a good idea IMHO!

Freakin awesome! You's gots balls my friend!!

I'd throw in the sliders and skid plate and call it good. It sucks not being able to open the door with banged up rocker panels, what's even worse is trying to close the door on banged up rocker panels. Unless you're going tube doors.

Lol nice bro... We're headed up to buck rock /big meadows today comming back Monday cruise up!

I'm headed out on the USS John C. Stennis until the 3rd. Wish I could. And for everyone else. I'm chopping the rockers, adding some sliders, skid plate (ipor style) and bumpers.

Dont bother cutting out the rockers just mount your sliders underneath
Been there done that
You should be able to get some of the dents out from around the tail light just take off the interior panel and use a socket on the end of an extension and start pounding with a hammer you should get some of it out so you can re-mount a tail light
Been there done that also
I would recommend putting some type of bedliner on the sides no more scratchs to worry about and it really helps when you have to pop out dents if they will pop out.
I would also put minnie sliders like the one in the picture in front of your rear control arm frame mounts it really helps eliminate them as hang up point

I would be alittle more careful about that tcase, get a good skid plate
You smash that aluminum tcase on the trail you are screwed, it wont take much to break the case

Looks like you had fun

Does this interfere with bolt on sliders?

Do you have anymore pics and info about your new exhaust? I too have a body lift and need the second cat for california smog. I need to do the exhaust as the next step before I build my sliders (I'm not as brave as you). It looks like you rotated the cats, any other tricks to tucking everything higher? Thanks.

I took mine to a shop here in town. Only cost me 390 and that's only because I needed another cat for smog reasons (gotta love the PRK). I'll take more pictures for you tomorrow. I just got in from a work trip and I've been up for nearly 21 hours.

Not sure why people consider this having balls.

Agreed.

I definitely wouldn't be bragging about destroying my truck either.

How is he destroying his rig? The man took his rig wheeling, pushed his rig to it's limitations, and took some body damage. He isn't planning on selling it. Sounds like he bought it to wheel. To each their own.

Looks good Blanco. I have sliders on my rig and still manage to hit my body. I have also had her leaning really bad on a tree and managed to unroll my rain gutters.

I couldn't open the door until I bent it back.

Good stuff

Sorry to revive such an old thread. I was reading it to figure out if my 100 could make it through Coyote Lake Trail. I'm not triple locked, but I am more lifted, protected and running taller tires. But after seeing that carnage, I think I'll stick to the "difficult trails" like Bald Mountain, Mirror, Strawberry and Brewer Lake.

Red lake you could do. Coyote is a beast of a trail. I did most of this damage in the 1000 feet. I'm currently in the process of canning the rockers and getting more armor.
