Guys - I've been talking to at @Stumpalama today and their Swap meet that usually happens in the spring at IPOR. They're hoping to do it in early fall now (September time frame).

I was wondering if we should try our hand at hosting our own. Not to compete with CLCC but maybe we could draw in some of the yankee toy or Gotham City guys.

I have NO idea how hard or what is involved in pulling something like this off, so this may be a STOOPID idea, but what does everybody think? Could also use it as an excuse for all of us to get together with our rides and drink some beer and eat some burgers or bbq. Mmmmmm barrrrr-beeeee-qqqqqqq.

Thoughts?

I like it. Great opportunity to create some garage space!

I probably have a few things I could get rid of. Definitely up for beers and burgers.

We discussed this at our last meeting, and I volunteered to try and find a suitable location...

And this is what I get for skipping the meeting. Greg, I'm willing to help try to pull this off. let me know what you want me to do.

You won't gain any garage space; you just get rid of your crap and replace it with new crap. What could be better?

Good point @76FJ40 . Who am I kidding. This is a zero sum game.

What about getting a space at truck nationals in Carlisle this summer. We have all tried selling with each other. This way we sell to other people.

When is that? I have not gone in 20 years. I should the family and show off My Junk!

Just an idea, but would it be more effective to have a focused group of buyers?

Perhaps timing it around the CMCC makes more sense? I'm not sure where it could be set up, but at least we'll have a captive audience of Yota heads.:hmm:

If that idea doesn't work out, may be able to provide a nicely mowed field in the Lancaster area.

Anyone want to volunteer to take the lead on this?
PM sent to you and Greg
