I got on a 1-year-ish wait for an lx in early January at Sewell Ft Worth. They do not take deposits - they just put you on a list. I sure hope that there actually is a list and that I’m on it. 🤣

Toyota dealer is selling a “used” one with 91 miles
A guy that is a salesman there on the local cruiser page posted it up. I can pass along his info if you like.

Did they just rename Atomic Silver to Manganese Luster?

I think it's actually formerly nebula gray. ;)

No that definitely has more of a gold tint to it. We had a Nebula Gray LX570, it's definitely not that color.

We saw a big increase in our last two allocations. We have nine LX600's inbound. You may see more and more dealers dropping the markup. Lexus is warning dealers they may not earn extra cars that are given monthly if they continue with mark ups. That's the word on the street

I can’t imagine why anyone would wait years for a Toyota. This isn’t some rare Ferrari. It’s a commodity vehicle made by a manufacturer that can’t get their act together.
Need something nice and dependable to drive and put miles on while your having an engine out service on your Italian sports car in the shop for 4 months to replace a part with an expiration date.

I do think big auto makers are in a world of hurt over the next decade. Consumers can’t have a 1000.00+ vehicle payment for 7 years to pay for what manufacturers believe is a middle of the road vehicle.

Guess I’ll just stick with my 200 for another 15-20 years.

Someone will want to buy it when your tired of it. Probably for what you could sell it for now but years years down the line.

Unfortunately for potential suitors you’ll probably still want to keep it in 15 years when all new vehicles are battery powered.
Plus when they are that old you can let your dog ride without worry of messing the new interior.

I’ve been offered 3 different LX locally over the last 2 weeks but I have decided to hold off for a base model in atomic or nori. No markup.

Seems like production is ranping up some.

I was on the list for over a year in Memphis for an Atomic Silver / Palomino. Got a few calls for F Sports but passed. Got a call for a Manganese Luster / Peppercorn last week and jumped on it.

They got five or six in last week IIRC. Actually saw two on the road this week. I think I'd only seen two in the wild prior to this week.
