I have been digging around but just can not find this answer. I am awaiting a new electronic speedo that is adjustible for differant pulse inputs. What I can not find is what VSS will work the best with the older transfer case.

BTB products out of Henderson NV. Check out their website.

Autometer has one that will work but you have to get the correct drive from them as the default one that they send you wont work.

I used these folks for the speed sensor for my Autometer speedometer, and also for my VSS for the 3FE EFI. They were above average to deal with. They will know exactly what you need.

I sourced one from JTR (jags that run) for my TBI conversion and I would not recommend them. I tried to get some support from them when I was having issues with my VSS. After leaving messages for several days with no response I finally spoke with someone there who told me he did not have time to help me trouble-shoot and hung up the phone. I think I will call them "fags that run" from now on.

Should've used Downey. :bang:

Had no problems with Jags that run, even helped me out when I needed a replacement part when I broke the Speedo tab.

No complaints!

Thanks fo the feed back. I am not changing the motor just redoing the dash. In the selection of guages I ended up picking an electric speedo.

Most electronic speedos require a 4 pulse AC signal. Evidently some spedos are adjustable, but you must still determine if your spedo requires AC or DC. I still have 2 pulse DC and 4 pulse AC in stock, Toyots 22mm, Toyota drive tangs---the real deal. PM if interested.

What is the thread measurment on the t-case speedo? 22mm x 1.5?

Edit: It's 22mm x 1.5.

The owner of the company who made all the transfer-case VSS’s passed away, and there was no one to keep the VSS part of their business going, so now simply not available.

I'm sorry to hear about the owner passing away.

I actually wasn't looking for a VSS. Just the correct thread size/pitch for the Toyota t-case speedo sensor.
