There's a crazy maple bay story about a submarine. Dude built one. He owned the retired gabriola ferry from the 30's, had to build massive davits on the back to hold it. Then apparently his wife wouldn't let him use it, so it sat in a field somewhere on the way to bird's eye cove.

I worked on the old ferry tons of times. It's still around last I heard.

Hi all. I'm not from Canada but @offkilter encouraged me to post here as I'm looking for a certain part that seems to be easier to find where y'all are at.

Early BJ60s, definitely 1981 and possibly 1982 - and maybe even a few imported during 1980 - that came with NO power steering had a different steering wheel than most 60 Series trucks had later on. It's like a later 40 series wheel but brown. I'd love to put one of these on my brown interior FJ60, but here in the US we did not get BJ60s nor this wheel, and all 60s had power steering ... hence checking in with you Cruiserheads to the north. I want to make sure that the internal splines are a match to the later steering wheels and columns. If they interchange then I'm interested in buying. I've seen asking prices between $125 and $500 and none of them have sold - in fact there's an eBay ad that's been up for several years at $200 with no takers. I think I'd be in it for $75-100 plus shipping.

Halogen lights for anyone? 4 ProComp 130 8” had these on the 60 for years. 1 pair good the other work sort of a spare lens. Some square as well. Let me know if ya want em
