What kind of vent shades are you guys using besides the jdm or jdm clones? Looking for some that only hang down about 2" or so compared to the jdm ones that hang down like 4". I like to keep my windows cracked when parked.

Those look great!
They don't glue/tape on like most others; and more importantly, the leading edge of the front window extends all the way down to the sill. Most glue-ons stop around the mirror and that wouldn't give you complete coverage with the window cracked open.
Are the jdm's around for a decent price? I have the sunroof cover but not the side windows
