The stripped seat back shows that the seat back and springs were powder coated prior to adding foam and cover.The above pics are from @oregon fj
The top pic is the driver seat back, stripped of all of the soft material.
Bottom pic is complete driver seat. That is what I'm hoping my upholstery work looks like when done.
I installed SOR in mine. But I did get samples of vinyl from both SOR and Cruiser Corps before ordering. I went with SOR because the coral color was a better match to the remains of the original coral covers on my seats. The CC vinyl was heavier, really good quality stuff, but it was really just dark tan, not coral. I did not get samples from CCoT.Best seat covers in terms of quality and price. CCOT seems to imply theirs is the best available in quality and fit
