It must be an early '78 then. Most '78s have "Radio" at the bottom. My 78 has that one and cover. Cool!

Hmmm maybe it does. IIRC it is an OCT 77 make so you might be right
That's the INNER boot for the 3 speed, which Toyota still makes/sells. I'm talking about the outer boot, which hasn't been manufactured for years now.
Thanks.
What's the diameter of your boot at the bottom? Wondering if you have compared against Mr. Gasket #1651?
Am I right about the year or the radio at the bottom?

The above is the OEM three speed transmission shift boot that is being discussed.

What are the chances of recreating the grommet for the fuel line in the floorboard? That would be great! !!
Unless I find some creative way, small grommets are below the threshold from a cost perspective. However, if anyone has that grommet, please post a shot.
Regarding your earlier question about the floormat, I don't have any new update at this point. What I can share is that there is resistance from the supply chain to put the TOYOTA name on there. Nobody wants to be part of a lawsuit even if the chance is remote. The logo may have to be a separate piece that is glued on by the consumer. You'd be hard press to tell the difference if it's done right.
Not sure if you're referring to the heater defrost hoses. Those are readily available from SOR.Are you looking into reproducing the rubber boot that connects the front heater to the plastic intake for '73 and below? Or is that still available from Toyota?
