There isn't an 'Unobtanium' thread in the 60-section so just wanted to thank @ToyotaMatt here for making this NLA (from any factory or aftermarket source) lock set available again. Mine was shot, and needed a new one; didn't want used.

I imagine it's a lot of work to get a company to make relatively small run of a boutique part. On his website. Cheers!

Couldn’t agree more. In the beginning Matt found a competent locksmith to deal with the rekeying. But when that resource went away, Matt stepped up to the challenge, increased his skillset to learn something I consider to be pretty esoteric, and fill that void himself. That is dedication, pure and simple.

both early flip down 73-12/79 and later 1/79-10/85 side ways swinging 40 series fuel door catch strike 's have been reproduced now for a while from Stainless Steel ...

these were a major challenge , because finding suitable good condition OEM originals proved harder then heck .......

There bad to the bone awesome final NON-USA Update lamps for 73-10/85 FJ40 / BJ40 12V or 24V

all the modern updates like threaded mounting studs and all sockets are grounded with spot welds , and SNOW VERSION rubber weather boots , long frame rail location pigtails double wrapped loomed solid core

there for the most part nearly water proof , although the lenses do have the weep drain holes .......

there BOMB PROOF TOUGH AS NAILS , OEM revised OEM KOITO parts that's for darn sure .....


there fully polarized too

come with harness side 5 wire O-RING sealed factory connector kits , so plug and play if you will ....

NO MODS except you need to run the 5th ground wire white w/ black tracer stripe this is required or they will NOT work ....

- the LENSES are a better design then the GEN 3's , but fully interchangeable i double checked that 100% SOLID

- the 2 interior LIGHT SHADES are included , i forgot in all the excitement to show them there NOS and a better reflector coated material too


they do NOT come with BULBS .......fyi

It’s been about 7 months now since they discontinued this unit.

It will come back into the Heritage Parts Program for the JDM at 3x the price.

Doesn't the JDM version have the reservoir tube on the opposite side?
This part is probably more critical to the 60 Series folks, as every FJ60 has power steering.
