As I mentioned above, I need the 2 hole version like the one that started this thread. I’m not in a position to spend a lot on one right now, so if anyone has an affordable one that needs restored, with bad, cracked or even missing glass, send me a PM.

I was hatching a plan before the fever hit me. A poor mans DIY copy. An eyeglasses case looked roughly of similar size and shape. Just add glass, arm, glue and paint. Hell I'm ready to start making rare stuff out of paper mache'.

I have a question. My rig has 2 holes as well, 2"s apart. What's the third larger hole in the mirror bracket for?

I found the mirror head that is almost a perfect match. Same size, same rear post, even has the, two small rivets. Only thing missing is the bracket. Its even made out of stainless steel.
I am going to look into getting a bunch if brackets laser cut out of stainless.

A patina takes longer with stainless, but eventually it will get there. A Delorian look w/o paint.

"You are the previous owner". :)

And one that fit these holes, a small window of 65’s fell in this design. I know at least one mudder who has one in his rig lol.

This style was used from some time in 64 until the 68 model when DOT require the mirror to be breakaway in a accident. My 9/64 FJ45LP-B has one. The arm length was different depending on which model.

Thought I posted this earlier.

As for the earlier mirror a longer reproduction arm has already been done. I know I have a couple of them somewhere.

Keep me posted on what you can work out on the brackets and this mirror head. Something like this would be fine for my purposes.

Heres some pics of the bracket for those that want to make your own.
The eye to eye measurement of the mounting holes is 2 and 1/8th inch exactly.
