The same buddy that bought the six shooters, also purchased the shock mounts/gussets, no idea who made them, he bought from Marlin. All Pro and the crooks so one of them made 'em.

I bought everything he did not need when his front axle choice changed...

Damn, pink Knuckles Butch! Must be something in the water out there in TX...

Latest Longfields and chromo hub gears
Marlin inner axle seals

ARP spindle, knuckle, and lockout studs
other than that, I 'cheaped' with an AussieLocker....

So is your old stuff useable for a disc conversion? Interested in it if it is.

Dang, so even Texans have gone pink. Shait. I thought the last real manly men lived in Texas.

I'm rockin' the 6 shooters too, and think it's a good product, despite the controversy around the sellers. And, BTW, I painted mine black. Like my wimmin'.:flipoff2:

:smokin: setup dude!
What size tires you going to run now?
You think those stock tie rods will be beefy enough?
Have you thought about treating the R & P?

I have a new set of 37x1450 Toyo MTR's on now which I have not wheeled yet, ran em on the street only, those are 80 series TR ends, so yes they will hang,
no on the treating I have never broke any R& P in the front.....

I've run my setup with 37" Pitbull Rockers and currently with 'soft' 39" Pitbull Maddogs...

I still run coarse spline stock front pinion...thus far, I've twisted a couple rear driveshafts, cracked a 700R trans case, cracked a D300 transfer case, and a shattered the 300M star in a mid-generation chromo Longfield...

ring-pinion will not be an issue, no need for cryo :)

Chevy 1 ton TR ends and 4x4 labs knuckle arms and then it will be the "Ultimate" axle. Some would even say the Ultimate Turd Polishing, but I like the Toyota axles myself.

Nice setup though. I would love to have the six shooter knuckles, just can't bring myself to have to buy new arms, when I haven't even tried out these yet.

i really like the pink...

who makes a kit to increase the wms in the fj40? since the original 55' are so narrow, and diamond axles are so empensive.

Chev 1 ton joints are no stronger than stock toyota 80 series ends . I ran them for a while and went through a couple of sets (tried two different brands) before going back to 80 series ends . They seem to last a lot longer . I don't think the six shooter arms from TG will bend or break either .
