All hell no. That's one thing I refuse to do. Once it starts it's almost impossible to get them to stop. I put a lazy-boy in the baby room just for this purpose.

i think it depends on the kid

when my wife is out of town i let my son sleep next to me, he always sleeps in later if he's in bed with me

but when i tell him no, he listens

We lost power at 6:47 at work last night, generator was still running strong at 07:55 when I left this morning. Thank the Lord for that beautiful green turbo diesel beauty! Pelham road around my station and Wade Hampton area got pounded by that storm. Hope nobody had bad damage, we ran a ton of calls.

Just put a new place to wheel on the ol' bucket list. Hawaii. Check out this video, granted, the driving could be better, but at the 2:12-2:22 mark, that's beautiful.

i still get a huge thrill every day just driving my vehicle away from work at 5pm

anyone here into horse back riding/camping?

I'd love to find someone who would let me tag along with my son and ride on a donkey, my daughter might be game too but i don't think a donkey would hold more than me and my son (total of about 175-190lbs).

Would be fun to ride the horse pasture this time of year, do some primitive camping and swim in jocassee all day.

Looks like I might have found my old cruiser.

Just happened to post in the tech section about it because I've been looking for it for the past 7 years. I always thought it was a 73 since I'm pretty sure it was made in late 73. Must have been titled as a 74 though. Well thats what everyone says. Anyway I decided to do a search for a 74 in charlotte. Which were the gut I sold it too was from.

First thing that pops up is this 74 on craigs list. Just way to many similarities to not be it. How ironic.

Below are the pics of it on craigs list. I've contacted the owner to get some more information.

are you buying it?

leave it stock so we can race 40's!!!

What similiarities??? :hillbilly:

lol.

Rear bench

It's black

it's a 74 in the same area as mine was when I sold it.

Fog lights look the same.

Mine didn't have a rear tailgate. It was just a piece of sheet metal screwed into the back.

Rims look to be the same except for the chrome trim rings.

atleast the new owner was respectful enough to put a bezel on the old girl (right up too!) so it didn't look like a heep any more :flipoff2:

the guys on top gear are in bolivia and one of them looks to be driving a 45. Cool!!

excuse me it is a 40

and it is falling apart as we speak. The drive shaft has fallen off. No alternator. He is now driving is 4wd due to the rear shaft being fubar and blowing up the diff. They should have brought a 60.

and now he has just rolled it. I never laughed so hard in my life.
