First car I bought new was a 1987 Mazda B2000LX, sweet pickup. The bed was perfect for 2 lawn chairs, park in reverse at drive-in to watch movies with my wife.... the good old days before kids and complications.

My 40 is not a daily driver but for those of you driving older vehicles in this cold weather... bbrrrrr... When the temps hit 10 degrees yesterday morning, I was thinking back to a trip to Asheville about 20 years ago. Temps got around 8 or 9 and I was driving a 1988 Mazda B2200 pickup. I remember the groaning it was doing at every bushing, hinge, etc. It sounded like my door was going to break when I closed it. That is one of the only times I remember thinking it was really dangerous driving from Asheville back to Greenville.
I can only imaging needing to drive my 40 in this weather. For those of you driving older vehicles in this stuff...![]()
If it is anything like every other government form, put LOTS of unnecessary information and then paperclip a $100 bill to it.Is anyone here proficient in writing resumes? I have been self employed for 20 years and will be applying for a job with the federal government. It is my understanding the desired layout of the resume is different between a federal vs non federal job...
If anyone has any advice on landing a federal job, I would appreciate it.
Calendar check, does this link work for you? What do you see?
Just took me to a generic google calendar login page asking for my credentials. Does not appear to be a direct link to a UC calendar if that was the intent. Hope this helps.

I can understand having wire in the truck, but pliers for twisting? You must have been at home.
Lots of field fixes with wire in a past life, I have a fondness for safety wire pliers. I once made a .50 cal ammo can cradle on a ship deck gun mount out of braided and twisted wire in case of pirates in the Persian Gulf. It was beautiful.I can understand having wire in the truck, but pliers for twisting? You must have been at home.![]()
