I need to see the space but it will be some sort of kitchen setup...and there might be room above the water tank for additional storage i can access from the front compartment...i

What are the loads?
How often will each be used?

Multiply the loads by the use time to get amp-hours, then add them all together. How does the result compare to amp-hrs of the battery of choice?

I would want the battery(ies) to have considerable reserve capacity, say twice the expected demand.

Dave, at TurtleBack is going to wire the panel and run a Deka Group 24 AGM Marine Battery

Got an update from Dave at Turtleback, the trailer gets skinned tomorrow with a thicker aluminum then he used previously and from here on out things should move pretty quick. The trailer was wired today,,, you can see the rubber grommets he used to keep the wires from chafing... I'm switching out the wheels to Level 8 wheels .. and a picture of the laser cut propane tank holder Lou

Hey Lou,

Thanks for posting the update photos. Sorry for the lull in the photo action. We doubled the production space creating a dedicated metal fab shop and a dedicated assembly area. That took about a week and we are still on schedule for your delivery and the others going out this month.

The product that we use is self priming. We use 36 grit sander to cut the metal to assist with bite. I interviewed numerous companies and felt that this product would offer the best protection for it's use.

don't get me wrong, i admire your trailers. tough and rugged, well thought out builds
i am just not a fan of liner on bare steel.

I'm no expert on bed liner but doing a quick search, I found arguments for both....but the one constant is using 36 grit .. rough up the surface and apply...
Can't wait to see the skinned trailer in a few days and I think a few will be surprised by the awning mount Dave's working on.. the width of the Med Maggiolina was the reason for a different setup and we want to make sure our idea is going to work before posting it.

Got this message from Dave of Turtleback Trailer today.. Hey Lou, Let the TIG welding begin!! Here are some pictures of the aluminum doors and door frames. They’ll be TIG welded up this week an off to powder coating. The front box is tack welded and will be welded and off to the powder coater also. I’ve also sent pics of the Stainless Steel propane bracket and switch plates that house the Blue Sea Switches. Everything is laser cut then CNC bent. In addition there is a pic of the awning bracket that will be attached to the extensions to clear the tent. Dave image-2220784483.jpg Side Boxes

Love those USB jacks. Thats gonna be a sweet trailer.
 
Nice quality stuff and construction. The bottle holders look sweet.

Don't be afraid to add plenty of USB's and 12VDC outlets on all sides...you won't regret it.

Thanks...pretty much have that covered..three on the trailer...three hot in the truck and I have a Yeti 150..
