What do you think of the Yeti 150? I've been looking at getting one and a Boulder 30 panel for my trailer, plus some of those same lights. I like the whole design much better than me trying to put together my own system.

I just received it in Dec and the only testing I've done has been indoors. I had the case made to make it easier to haul everything around..

Post up when you've done some testing with the solar. I will probably be buying within a few months myself. A good friend of mine has used their smaller stuff to keep his phone and tablet going when doing field work in China and Tibet. He loves it.

Hi Lou,
Here's the standard propane tank/hose/regulator. Yours will have the Squatty 11# tank. I use a bolt together adjustable regulator rather than the crimp together tin unit. The hose is high pressure propane cloth covered for uv protection and is stainless reinforced. The hose ends are serviceable with standard wrenches if there was ever an issue the tank fitting is o-ring sealed, hand tightening that works on old and new tanks and is all brass.
The polished stainless latch on the bracket is padlock able and adjust for short or talk tanks.

The standard unit with kitchen comes in at 1200 pounds. It has a 2500 pound GVW so there's 1300 to play with

The holes for the water lines are drilled prior to the rubber coating of the chassis so they get a rubberized buffer by the coating in the holes
Here's an outline of the trailer coating process directly from the company who seals the unit. This is from their industrial coating division who does government military work. It's costing 50% more yet I believe this process is vital to the build.
Turtleback Trailer Coating:
Inyati Process sheet:
* Prep surface for coating process (Sand and grind to create profile for primer to adhere)
* Degrease and remove oils
* Iron Phosphate 1 Stage pretreat.
- Iron Phosphate will provide the last line of defense against corrosion.
- It will also enhance the profile created in step 1
- It will give us the best adhesion performance.
* Chalk and seal trailer.
* Apply a 2 part Epoxy primer
* Coat with Inyati Material
