hand sand or sand blast?
considering the application of an off road trailer, would it make sense (or a waste of time and effort) to enlarge the holes a bit when drilling and install a rubber grommet for the water lines to feed through ...
i am just thinking of the movement of the lines when bouncing down a trail or when turning the water on and off.
please don't think i am trying to pick apart your work, i am impressed with the design. such a compact trailer with so many practical applications ... a craftsman shown in the workings.

The steel goes through a "timesaver" before it's constructed which scores all surfaces. Then it's hit by hand before coating. The $300 extra to sand blast would be a waste after the other prep.

On the water there is some gap but not enough for water hammer or off road wear. Grommets would take too much time. I know from trying it on the first trailer that didn't have the heavy rubber coating.
