Very excited! Met my goals and things are working great! EMS and JMS put in some serious work to make this happen and I wanted to just say thanks to them. The last couple days they have been putting in 12 hours days to get things tuned so I can try and make FJ Summit. The truck still has maybe 30-60 more horsepower in it after some more fine tuning, but who can complain with 422hp?!! My goal was twice stock power and stock is 212hp so we are right there.

Thanks again EMS and JMS!

That is a work of art right there. Nice work to everyone who had there hands on that. Jealous, but on the other hand I could never imagine my 80 putting down that power with the handling.

Well it will never be a race car, but it wasn't really done to go fast, it was done to be able to hold hills with my cruise control on, to be able to tow a trailer and not get passed by tractor trailers, to not be afraid of running out of power in low range 1st gear when at 13,000ft, haha.

Max power is at 16psi I will probably run it around 12psi most of the time.

Sweet outcome and right on the targeted range! Hats off to all involved as it is a really nice, tight job!! Kudos and just a little jealous!!

Man, Beno you know how much I wish I could be more like that. lol. Patient and laid back! But my attitude just doesn't allow it most times. It certainly would be less stressful, and with this project cheaper. haha.

No worries Ryan....Everyone has something that fits their world.

I'm happy that you took the plunge (as you have with all of your Land Cruisers) into doing something outside of the box of what everyone else is doing.

That takes guts and a certain amount of risk most people won't take, so hats off man.

I'm just happy you kept it Toyota and didn't s***-can it for a domestic powerplant or a truck-nutz diesel that seems to be in vogue these days.

Enjoy FJSummit and say hi to the crew.....

That is uuuuuuuuuuber sweet! We might need a 0-60 video or something???

Good job Ryan!

Yep more data will be coming.

In my build thread, I took preturbo data for:

- Youtube video 15-60mph to compare to stock and other turbo setups
- Youtube video 10-82mph up the steepest hill I could find around here
- Average MPG for a 155 mile trip at 70mph
- Average MPG around town
- Coolant temps after 40min drive in Texas hill country
- Coolant temps sitting in traffic
- Intake air temps

So I will replicate all of these things and have before and afters.

That's what I'm talking about....real empirical data....

We should all try to guess the new 15-60 mph time. Closest guess should get a discount from EMS...

Very very nice ,I thought you'd pull big numbers, but frankly not that much. Very impressive ,congrads to all .

Already have a trans kit going in. Baktash and the guys at JMS have talked me into running it at 12lbs of boost so around 570ft/lbs for a while just because we aren't sure how things will hold up. I would expect I will be doing a larger trans cooler sooner rather than later.

Thoughts on how the trans will hold up to 600 ft lbs?
