There's been a few reviews of the Terrain Tamer Parabolic Springs so far.. here's a link to mine:

Parabolics - Review - https://tinyurl.com/ttparabolics

My HJ47 sees 1000's of kilometres of "corrugations" every year - I understand these are commonly called "washboard roads" in the US though?

I'm just back from around 2300klms of driving after fitting the new Heavy Duty Terrain Tamer Parabolic Springs, much of it on corrugated dirt roads and the difference the new parabolic springs have made on these road surfaces is very significant, the impact of the corrugations on the vehicle has been greatly reduced by the new parabolic springs.

I am not sure how much of an issue these sort of roads are in other countries, certainly in Australia, on remote trips, corrugations on unmaintained roads can be absolutely brutal - and on maintained roads its very much dependent on when the grader last went through. Some of these unmaintained roads are well over 1500klms in length (Canning Stock Route - 1800klms, Anne Beadell Highway - 1400kls) and even some of the maintained dirt roads are more than 1000klms (Tanami Track for example).

These springs have been a big win for my vehicle so far.

That looks like Mars dirt from the Rover cam. Its warming up on Mars. Dinosaurs driving SUV and smoking Kool's is my explanation, makes as much cents as freon here....

I saw these in person this past weekend with Terrain Tamer. I’m looking forward to installing on my shorty 70.

Got to spend some time with my good friend, @orangefj45 and they explained some of the engineering specifications associated with the parabolics. I’m stoked to try them out. We are going to be installing into a shop FJ60 as well.

Thanks for taking the time to start thus thread Duncan.

The Terrain Tamer parabolics have been very popular and well received/reviewed. We’re getting inquiries daily and shipping out suspension kits as fast as we can stock the new warehouse here in Northern California!

We’ve also installed numerous kits at Valley Hybrids …… lots of positive feedback and happy customers.

Happy to help!
