Truck has inconsistent and pulsating brakes at low speeds. (2 Viewers)

Have similar issue. I replaced pads/rotors and had to have one of them heat treated as pin was siesed.

I still have pulsating after over a year. Much less now than prior to replacing pads/rotors.

As an FYI it will probably go away but resurface later. On the next brake job i may swap callipers.

Have you checked out your wheel bearings?

Yeah, I had them done at same time I did the brake job. I couldn’t finish the fronts as caliper bolts were frozen and needed heat. So took it to local shop and had them do bearings.

Doing mine this weekend. Can't wait, I have the same issue as you. Though, I am also replacing both front Wheel bearings this weekend. you know, "While you're in there" kind of thing.

It's just happenstance that it needs brakes and rotors, too.

Are you doing the brake lines too? I ordered 4 new ones for the rear but couldn’t get them off without almost rounding the bolts that connect to the hard lines.

Not doing brake lines until I see a reason, mine are fine currently.

Could your rotors be warped? Funny enough, I was just reading through this thread yesterday after I created it a year and a half ago because my new GX is having the same issue as my LX.
