Thought I would try to add my pictures to this thread to help others working in clearance as well. Thank you to all the others that have contributed as well!

Word of caution, I haven't verified how week this works yet as I haven't ordered wheels/tires yet. Placing order for wheels today. 17x8.5 | 5x150 | 35/6.20" wheel with a 285/70R17 Toyo AT3 most likely on tire.

Passenger side to start.

Drivers side.

I'll probably pull the mud flaps on the trailing side as well but haven't done so yet.

@TeCKis300 and others that are 34”+ did you end up having to trim this piece circled in Green? I’m rubbing at full lock on the 295/70/R18 Defenders

I guess your rig is a super beater at this point.

Haha, I'll eat my words. 🙃

Funny thing is everyone that asks what it is, thinks it's way newer than it is. I just took her through the Costco (brushed) car wash today and my son after coming home from school asked if I polished out the pinstripes today. Nope, they're all there in all their glory but she sure still cleans up nice.

At 175k, she's just getting broken in.

Missed this question. Yes, pretty sure I did. If it's in the way, no problem trimming it.

This same technique of pinning the forward liner can be taken all the way to 37s, while keeping full under bumper aero and protection in place. It's pretty easy and IMO worth the effort as the engine intake is behind the fender liner area on the passenger side, and keeps dirt and water from directly funneling up into the intake.

Here's in process for 37s

Pulled ~2" forward and trimmed out.
